god is amazing. He always make your life so interesting. Interesting sermon on Thursday night about the bread of life and course how rain from heaven is associated with that. I love is coz "rain is a blessing" just like "raine is a blessing" i want to be blessed and be a blessing to everyone around me. It brings me joy to see joy in others.
I hv small thoughts like being a nice wife and set up a home which is neat and organised, cooked good food for my husband and children. i am ready to be somebody's wife and god has granted me that. I kept thinking about how to take care of baby R and it daunted on me that i have to learn how to love my family as well. WEll just find that you can only focus oon giving love to only ONE and asked god strength for patience and strength and wisdom to demostrate love to my loves ones around me.
is encouraging when the word flows to you and u have your revelations. I wonder if you ever have feelings in the day or small whispers that the lord seemed to be talking to you. I wonder if that is my inner voice or voice frm the heaven.
pastor joshua said that you have to be obedient to the lord and to do that you need to listen.Listening , what an important skill. I must learn to listen with empathy and patience .
Tiredness has gotten to me and i am finding harder to get up for work . Well all in the state of mind and defintely that is overcomed once i started teaching.
3 weeks more before my term ends. it saddens me but yet i know there is something better
i will miss my colleagues whom have touched me in many ways--their helpfulness,kindness,fun-loving ness, gentlenss and the genuine touch in them which i wonder if i can find in my next work place. Terribly hope i have more time to interact with them.

to serve or not to serve?Pray.
That very moment, Jesus became my Savior. He forgave my sins and poured His love into my heart so much so that I sobbed with joy until strings of snot hung from my nose. No, it wasn’t pretty, but that didn’t matter. I had Jesus!
I didn’t realize it then, but this was only the beginning of my journey to the cross. It took me several years to discover that Jesus was leading me down the same path He traveled on earth. What path, you might ask? Where was He going? Jesus was continually walking toward the cross. I knew the meaning of the cross for Him. It meant death and Jesus was leading me there too – to die to my selfish desires.
After we are called to God’s saving grace through His Son’s death, our next call is to service. This is where we become Disciples of Christ. Our salvation is a free gift. While it cost Christ everything, it cost us nothing. On the other hand, to be a co-laborer of Christ is very costly. He asks for our lives. “For if you want to save your own life, you will lose it, but if you lose your life for my sake, you will save it” (Luke 9:24).
With this realization came a choice. Will I continue to follow Jesus or not? I mean nobody likes death, especially their own. Still, the time had come. I could no longer be a spoiled-rotten child of God receiving His blessings only. It was time to decide whether I would go on with Christ and learn not to only receive from Him but to serve Him. The requirements Jesus offered were difficult. “If you desire to follow me, you must put aside your selfish desires, carry your own cross and follow me” (Mark 8:34).
This meant I had to nail to the cross all of my rights, my selfish desires, my pride, my anger, my family and my own personal dreams in order to fulfill God’s dreams for my life.
When I reached this point of spiritual death, I began to understand what Paul meant when he said, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith” (Galatians 2:20). My spiritual death led to new life, just as Jesus’ death led to resurrection life. It was the life I was always looking for, filled with power, peace and joy as I served my God and my King.
Oftentimes we stop at the foot of the cross. There God’s grace is extended, our sins forgiven, and Heaven becomes our future home. There is more. You’ve sensed it. You’ve desired it. God has a plan for your life greater than you could ever imagine. Can you hear that second call? If so, will you get up from the foot of the cross, nail all your worldly passions there, and commit to follow Him wherever He leads? It’s an adventure of a lifetime that will last forever more.
My Prayer for Today:
Dear Jesus, I’ve been on the receiving end, but today I hear Your call to service. I want to nail all that I am to the cross so that I can go where You go and serve as You serve. I want to be Your disciple. I want to be a “living sacrifice” so that Your life, through me, can bless others. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Application Steps:
Go to a quiet place and read Isaiah 6:5-8. Notice that Isaiah heard the voice of God calling him. What do you hear? Isaiah felt unworthy in the presence of God. He knew he was a sinner and repented before Him. Is there anything you need to confess to God? The Lord touched his lips and put His words into Isaiah’s mouth. This tells us that God will equip us to serve Him. We need not fear. God is enough. Will you say to God today, “Here I am, send me?”
Reflection Points:
What have you gained by holding to your own rights … anger and pride?
sometimes holding on to my anger and pride robs away joy god has sent to me. I get angry with my dad for nagging at me but he does it out of concern. Because i lose my cool, everything turns out nasty. I tried at times to be gentle in my words and everything turns out nice. i want to continue to pray that god will not keep me in that bodily flesh and teach me to nail all those impatience to the cross.I pray that i will be humble and be willing to listen.Pride is the number one thing which i should put it away.I gain nothing by holding on to my rights. Today i want to pray that i hv nailed everything to the cross and have surrendered my life to him.
What does God want to give you through your surrendered life?
Lord, wants to bless me abundantly with love, gentleness, peace and joy .he will bless me financially and physcially. He will also bless all my love ones, family and friends with peace joy and love...
Have you been hearing God’s call to service?
Yes, since the longest time i have been hearing god to ask me to serve in the children's ministry. I n ever seemed to take it up and never seemed to accept the abundant opportunities he placed for me in the church. I lament at the nature of my job or trying to tweeze and turn and said that i can serve through other means.i have dreams and visions of taking up classes to teach SUnday schools. I wait patiently yet no actions are taken. This year, the desires are strong . I want to go on a mission trip this coming july but i am not sure god ;s will for me is this. To quit early and leave for it.I have to prepare financially, mentally and everything. Being called to mission and ministry must be accoding to his will . Everything you do must rely on his strength. Father guide me and lead me to where you want me to be and what you want me to do. I pray that i will entrust you with this big decision as you lead me .Your words have brought me spiritual revelation. Thank you father.
Have you longed to go deeper with God, to know Him more, and experience life more abundantly? Answer the call.
Power Verses:
Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.” (NJK)

perserverance in your mission
"My child, how many times have you felt like throwing in the towel? How many projects have you started but never finished? How many lives have you tried to touch but felt rejected? Are you frustrated? I was rejected, too, but I never gave up until I finished the work My Father assigned Me. Let Me strengthen and help you. It's never too late to start again. Let Me work through you, and I will stamp your life with My success."
Many times , i have started some personal projects for myself but i never seem to follow it through or either way i am taking a super long time to complete them. they maybe taxing or time consuming or maybe when i met with some difficulties, i never seemed to seek a solution to it.I want to follow through my projects in terms of trying to touch the lives i have seen.I also want to help people and glorify him but it seemed like there are lots of difficulty and bringing pple to salvation seemed like you need great perserverance.
You are my example of perseverance, Lord. You started and completed your assigned mission. And because You suffered through pain, rejection, and misunderstanding, with Your help, I can make it through, also. Thank You for Your strength.
SIMPLE TRUTH
Life's greatest lessons are learned in God's school of perseverance.

Confidence among chaos
i love reading at the blog...a woman rooted in the words of the lord. Here id the passage which i extracted from her site. This friday will be good friday.Thursday , i am invited to go to WInnie's place for an Easter Egg Hunt and a gathering. I think that will be fun,Looking forward to it. I wish you are there though.:)
Confidence in CHAOS
"Blessed are those who trust in the Lord, They are like a tree planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green and they go right on producing delicious fruit." ~ Jeremiah 17:7-8
Devotion:
I'm sure we all have our own definition of chaos. The North American dictionary defines "chaos" as "a state of complete disorder and confusion." I have friends whose morning routine of getting their families dressed, fed and out the door on time is an example of chaos. Maybe your work environment qualifies as chaos, or perhaps entertaining your grandchildren would more accurately define chaos for you. Whatever your definition, I'd like to change our perspective on the word "chaos."Over the last two years my family has experienced: my husband's job being eliminated; my 94-year-old mother-in-law falling and caring for her while her wrist mended; my dad suffering a massive stroke and being partially paralyzed, in diapers and feeding tubes; our oldest son having 10 tumors that needed to be removed; our youngest son going off to college; having a young man live in our home for six months, and I, myself, spending seven months working for a major cosmetic company while being subjected to public humiliation and filthy language while standing in 3-inch heels on cement floors for nine hours a day. However - in the midst of all of these things the Lord challenged me to look at chaos from a new perspective. He gave me an acronym for CHAOS:
C-hrist's
H-ope
A-midst
O-ur
S-uffering
You may be asking yourself what is Christ's hope, and why should that be important to me? From what I have experienced, I can tell you that changing my perspective on the word chaos gave me the strength and focus to experience the peace, presence, provision and power of Christ like never before. Instead of whining and complaining about my circumstances, I discovered five character traits of a confident woman experiencing C.H.A.O.S.
(1) Her foundation is based on God's Word.
(2) She applies God's Word in her life daily.
(3) She bears and shares her fruit.
(4) She waits patiently.
(5) She lives her life with purpose.
As I put these five character traits into practice, I'm able to see beyond the present suffering to the bigger picture. That bigger picture in this life is not about me; but about Christ living in me to the extent that others see the reflection of Him as I walk through times of triumph as well as times of suffering.Since Christ is in the midst of my suffering, He makes it possible for me to walk through any circumstance with confidence - confidence that everything He brings into my life is for my good and His glory. I have the confidence that He will never leave me or forsake me. I have the confidence that nothing can ever separate from the love of Christ. With this confidence I can walk through suffering, while bearing spiritual fruit.A confident life in the midst of suffering does not go unnoticed. Others will ask about the source of your confidence, and what a perfect opportunity to share the goodness of the One who enables you to bear much fruit!God wants to transform our lives into a reflection of Him so that we can impact the people in our lives for His eternal purposes, and sometimes God chooses suffering to accomplish that purpose. So if your life is in a state of complete disorder and confusion, I invite you to look at chaos from God's perspective. Begin to apply the five character traits of a confident woman, and then hold onto your pretty-princess-shoes! You are about to experience the peace, presence, provision and power of Christ like never before.
My Prayer for Today:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your promise to be with me, and for Your enabling power to walk through this life with confidence. Help me to keep my eyes focused on You and Your glory. May I be one who bears and shares spiritual fruit so that others may experience Your peace, presence, provision and power. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Application Steps:
Change your perspective on chaos.Commit yourself to developing the five character traits of a confident woman.Ask the Lord to give you opportunities to bear and share the spiritual fruit in your life.
Reflection Points:
Is the foundation of your life based on God's Word and are you applying that Word in your life daily?
How can you demonstrate to others that you are a confident woman even in times of suffering?
Power Verses:
Isaiah 41:13, "For I am the Lord your God, who takes hold of your right hand, and says to you, 'Do not fear; I will help you.'"
(NIV)Colossians 1:16-17, "For by him all things were created, things in heaven and on the earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authority, all things were created by him. He is before all things and in him all things hold together."
(NIV)Ephesians 2:10, "We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do."
(NIV)Psalm 46:10, "Be still and know that I am God." (NIV)
Psalm 40:1-3: "I waited patiently for the Lord. He turned to me and heard my cry.He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire. He set my feet on a rock. And He gave me a FIRM place to stand. He put a new song in my heart, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and hear and put their trust in the Lord." (NIV)

Living as if you were dead
Romans 6:11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
What are the things that arouse the strongest emotions in you? Perhaps it is a rude motorist who cuts you off in traffic. Perhaps it is the anger you feel when you are wrongfully accused. Perhaps it is frustration that results from not having enough money to meet perceived needs. When do emotions turn into sin?
Whenever our peace is upset over events and circumstances in life, we have moved past emotions into sin. Sin says that circumstances of life now dictate anxiety, worry, fear, or anger. Consider the attributes of a dead man. He does not get angry when slandered. He does not worry about the future. He does not fear what can be done to him. Why? Because he is dead. Nothing can harm a dead man.
Christ said we are to live as if we are dead-dead to the temptation of responding to stimuli in our life that are designed to stir up the sinful nature that resides in each of us. We do not have to respond to that nature; we can consider it dead. Christ said He is enough. When He is our all in all, nothing can move us. If we are moved, then Christ is not our all in all.
