what you need to help you make a decision

CHANGING DIRECTIONS
Psalm 25:5Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long
The next five questions to ask yourself regarding God's will are to help you when facing a change in direction.
Is it reasonable?
God expects us to think. His guidance may transcend human reasoning, but it never excludes it. God doesn't bypass our mind; He operates through it: "Brethren, do not be children in your thinking; yet in evil be babes, but in your thinking be mature" (1 Corinthians 14:20). We are warned in Scripture not to put our mind in neutral. We are to think and practice what we know to be true (Philippians 4:8, 9).
Does a realistic opportunity exist?
Closed doors are not meant to be knocked down. If you have a hopeless scheme, let it go. If it isn't God's timing, wait. If a realistic opportunity exists, and all the other factors are in agreement, then take the plunge. God may open a window of opportunity, but it will close if not taken advantage of. The faithless man asks, "What do I stand to lose if I do?" The faithful man asks, "What do I risk losing if I don't?"
Are unbiased, spiritually sensitive associates in agreement?
Be careful not to consult only those who will agree with you. Give your advisors permission to ask hard questions. Don't be afraid of "no" answers. If it isn't God's will, don't you want to know before you make the mistake of acting impulsively?
Do I have a sanctified desire?
Don't think that being in the will of God must always be an unpleasant task. The joy of the Lord should be our strength. I find my greatest joy in serving God and being in His will. But don't get the idea that if everything is wonderful, you must be in the will of God. Is this a desire to satisfy a lust of the flesh or a Spirit-filled desire to see God's kingdom established and people helped?
Do I have a peace about it?
This is an inner peace. Is the peace of God guarding your heart and mind?
If you have been able to answer yes to all of these deciding factors, what are you waiting for?
Prayer:
Thank You, Lord, that I can trust You with the details and direction of my life today.

Receiving god's wil

Receiving God’s Will
Colossians 3:15-16

Have you ever had a strong compulsion that you couldn’t ignore? Compelling feelings can come from many directions, but if we sense God is working, we won’t want to squelch the thought, even if the idea seems illogical. Because of an irresistible urge, I’ve been to the grocery store at 1:30 A.M. on a Saturday for chicken soup to fight off a sinus cold. The soup didn’t cure me, but it did relieve my symptoms sufficiently so that I could sleep before getting the proper medical care. A weekend sinus problem usually means I can’t preach on Sunday, but God wanted me in the pulpit, and chicken soup helped get me there. In addition to compulsions, the Lord uses other ways to reveal His will.

We learn of God’s will through counsel. Both Testaments tell believers to seek and share counsel (Proverbs 11:14; Titus 2). Advice may be cheap, but direction from a believer living firmly in the Lord’s will is priceless. While no one can tell what God’s plan is for another person, we can ask a wise Christian what the Bible has to say about our situation. The answer will be based on the Word rather than opinion.

We discover the Lord’s will through our conscience. The conscience is a gift — a moral filter that ought to be developed through Scripture reading and meditation. If we are trained in this way, we should be able to determine quickly whether or not something is of the Lord.

No matter what method God uses to direct believers, a sense of peace will always accompany our obeying His will. When peace comes, keep following His lead.

Pray that God will help you to keep your focus on the eternal city. Ask Him to remove the attraction those worldly comforts and blessings have to you. Ask Him for the faith to overcome their temptations. Learn to worship Him spontaneously whenever he fills your heart with joy.

While you are interviewing

I pray that you will do well in your interview, give you the utterance,,can't wait to hear all the miracles god has showered upon you. It maybe tough but with god's strength you are amazing. I submit you to the hands of the lord that today you will be physically, mentally and spritual strong to handle the warfare. You shall be sharp able to dart off all evil darts and with quick wit ,impressed your interviewers.Pray that that favor of the lord will be upon you that you find favour in the lord. His grace is abundant upon. May you not rely on his strength but his.

I pray that you will keep on seeking god daily with all your heart, living the spirit each day, moment by moment and growing in his independence on him.
Psalm 119:1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. 2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart
Rom.8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
I also pray that you will learn to take every thought captive and not be conformed to the world's thinking.
Rom. 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God
.2Cor. 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled

Most importantly, I prayed that you will not learn to depend on your circumstances for happiness but on god alone.
Hab. 3:17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: 18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
Php. 4:11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
I prayed that you will have new strength in your busy schedule and that the lord may strengthen him with his strength.
Isa. 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Eph. 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

HOw to pray for your husband

Pray that Ronald to be strong against any opposition. (See 2 Tim. 4:7-8.)
4 They will reject the truth and follow strange myths. 5 But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don't be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at bringing others to Christ. Complete the ministry God has given you. 6 As for me, my life has already been poured out as an offering to God. The time of my death is near. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. 8 And now the prize awaits me – the crown of righteousness that the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that great day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his glorious return
Pray that your husband will be determined today to accomplish God’s goals for him.
Pray that his words will bring healing and be acceptable in God’s sight. Ask God to give your husband the right words today as he encounters each task of his day. (See Ps. 19:14.)
May the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be pleasing to you, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.
Thank God for a husband who trusts in God. Pray for him to rest in God’s omnipotent hands, knowing that God is in control. (See Heb. 11:1-3, 6.)
1 What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see. 2 God gave his approval to people in days of old because of their faith. 3 By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God's command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.
Pray for your husband to be all that God
called him to be. (See 2 Thess. 1:11-12.)
11 And so we keep on praying for you, that our God will make you worthy of the life to which he called you. And we pray that God, by his power, will fulfill all your good intentions and faithful deeds. 12 Then everyone will give honor to the name of our Lord Jesus because of you, and you will be honored along with him. This is all made possible because of the undeserved favor of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.
Ask God to help you be the wife your husband needs and to respect him. (See Eph. 5:22-24, 33.)
22 You wives will submit to your husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of his body, the church; he gave his life to be her Savior. 24 As the church submits to Christ, so you wives must submit to your husbands in everything. 25 And you husbands must love your wives with the same love Christ showed the church. He gave up his life for her 26 to make her holy and clean, washed by baptism and God's word. F10 27 He did this to present her to himself as a glorious church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault. 28 In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man is actually loving himself when he loves his wife. 29 No one hates his own body but lovingly cares for it, just as Christ cares for his body, which is the church. 30 And we are his body. 31 As the Scriptures say, "A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one." F11 32 This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one. 33 So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

To be a good server, can you do it?

believe every woman and man needs to ask themselves: If everyone gave like me, served the Lord like me, prayed like me, and witnessed to others like me, where would the body of Christ be? It is imperative that believers be accessible and available to the Lordship of Christ in their lives.

I truly believe if Christians will determine to become spiritually motivated, morally pure, and strong in their faith to God, their families, and the Good News of Christ, then the world has yet to see what God can do with believers all over the world. There are certain marks to look for in a strong believer in the Lord: maturity, stability, authenticity, vitality, integrity, and purity.

I challenge you to be willing to put the effort into the work of becoming a faithful follower of Christ. Second Timothy 2:21 says, “Therefore if anyone cleanses himself…he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.” Have you set that as a goal for your life? Unfortunately, there are too many celebrities in the Christian kingdom and not enough servants.

If you want to be a real man or woman of God, then there is no shortcut around a consistent, persistent study of Scripture and faithful servanthood to Jesus Christ. A cantankerous Christian is an insult to God. A carnal, critical Christian is an insult to the church of Jesus Christ. We are his servants, so instead of bearing an argumentative, fractious attitude, we should bear the characteristics of humility and submission. Ask God to make you a servant today.

You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. The hardworking farmer must be first to partake of the crops. --2 Timothy 2:1-6

Rest in the lord

I so happy today after talking to Adeline and i felt that god is so almighty. We briefly discussed about how to rest in the lord.Indeed when we know how loved we are by the lord, we will try to seek thy kingdom and live a worry free life. Everyday, we prayed to the lord that this is the day to rejoice and we put on a smile...a smile that is truly from the bottom of the heart.Somehow one never know how blessed he is until he went through a journey with the lord, submitting himself to the lord and seeing all the prayers come true.how true that is ...everyday we may have something we are not contented about or we maybe overwhelmed by the stress that we are facing in our life.Anxiety, worried, fear, confusion creeps into our life so easily ...if we are not careful, we maybe easily consumed by the devil. These few months,. Negative confessions have been drawing me away from the power of the lord. Luckily, i am so blessed that my babyface have pulled himself strong and support me in his prayers. Can never forget how he pray for me till i felt asleep coz i feel so peaceful and painless.AS I am talking to Adeline today, I begin to tell myself that i made these confessions a daily habit:

1) I am righteousness of god. All those symptoms of ill health are the lies of the devil. I am strong and and healthy and all the generation curses shall not be set on me. What happen to my mum will not happen to me.

2) Everyday is a blessing. At work, I shall be a blessing to others. I rejoice in whatever i do. i try my very best. Whatever setback i face. Let me take it at stride .Let my laughter be a joy to others

3) I want to walk in god's timing and submit whatever worries and cares I have to him. Let him lead the way while i rest in him

4) Good things shall be blessed upon my family and my Ronald and his family in health, in work and in financial

5) Let me continue to walk by faith in everyday life and enjoy the present.

good old times

before you leave Posted by Picasa
Ron you looked so skinny then...you looked better now....hehehhe

Noon Thoughts

hi baby ron

things are definitely muuch better after i went thru tis week lessons. Not that bad after all. The new enviroment is definitely much organised and neater than the previous...people are more particular about neatness...so that forced me to become more organised as well. The people are great here and veyr helpful. On the whole, is still a good place to work at,asides frm management. So no worries about me...i will try my very best. You know we have made a peg between both of us that I will just put my plans on hold this phase till you graduate and work .Till then , we will then decide what is my next step.

Talking to u is great this morning but i feel i can still blog more to tell you abt what i am gg thru.I read an article today and it says how a couple can work as a team to balance family and work. It says you can choose to do part time and your husband will slog in a high paying job when your children are young. If not he can do a home based business while you are in a normal office 9-5 job. It also said that you have to define what a job means to you...issit for money, for passion or to make yourself feel useful..i think mine is more on the latter....as such i feel if you are really gg to work overseas, i seriously dun mind just doing a assistant teacher in some kindergardern.i need not be a climber...

it also said both must not be involved in a jon transistion ,job switch or rellocation at the same time. Therefore a couple should work out its goals and dreams and tries to compromise each other. What are our roles towards each other during these few years when your life is gg thru a major chnage....probably we can draw out clearer roles..

i always believe that god is leading you to somewhere. see how things have chnaged since two years back when you are not in CHrist and now you are reading his words, going church and trusting in his way for you. Many unbelievable things happen beyond our understanding and yet this is part of his greater plan for you.I think you are gg to do real great...believing that you will definitely earn much more money compared to HP times and that is a result of your bold move to make a change. For sure, you are making steps to improve your life and is definitely the right step to take. No matter where you land yourself,i still think it is a better life than HP :).So just try to look at things on the brighter side and be contented with what you have. A dissatisfied soul will foever be indulged in this excessive lamentations over the lack in his life. Let's not be it and continue to rejoice .

I am happy that you are making steps to make yourself occupied.I think you are a great cook too.i am such a lucky woman to ahve you:).....well loneliness is hard to bear ..i know ...call me when you feel like talking to someone or find your friends to go out....i guess my baby needs someone to take care of and be there for him..
it seemed like you are not very willing to teach your frens golf huh...next time i cannot count on you areadi...:)i am seriously thinking of picking up coz i want to do it with you....unless is such a boring game that it will trun me off badly

baby...things will be better in a few months time...when the picture is clearer..no use worrying and over anxious abt it becasuse you know what is there will happen and eventually you will face in a blink of an eye...so why not just adopt a more light hearted attitude and enjoy your present..

i guess is tough for you to be there alone without any emotional or spiritual support....i must admit that coming back to singapore do make me feel better,to be able to hang out with frens and be in a more unfamiliar enviroment....but rest assured, if is necessary , i will be willing to step out of my comfort zone and be a support to you whenever you need me.Love you

cherish what you have

i have great fun witht he children.I enjoy the classes except for some children from Lavinia classes whose parents love her so much that i face difficulty with them.I pray that god is gg to continue to lead me out of this.
i taught my twins and they really made my day. They are so much obedient now and can tallk in simple sentences. They asked me" Where are you, we cannot find you...." It melts my heart..theya re so innocent

SOmehow, i cannot.....think must start to become SMarter....time will never come back. Cherish your present and do not look too much into the past nor the future.
